Welcome to Lora Marden Art (“we,” “us,” “our”). Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. 
They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. By visiting loramardenart.com (the “Site”) and/or purchasing from 
us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not 
use this Site.

Use of This Site 

You agree to use this Site for lawful purposes only and not to violate any laws, infringe 
on intellectual property rights, upload malicious code, or misuse the Site in any way. By 
agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of 
majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in 
your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of 
your minor dependents to use this site. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, 
sell, resell or exploit any images, text or other portion of the Site or artwork purchased 
from Lora Marden Art without express written permission by us.

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in 
the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to 
copyright laws).We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel orders at our discretion. 

Artwork & Intellectual Property 

All artwork, images, text, and branding on this Site are the property of the artist, Lora 
Marden, and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

The purchase of an original artwork does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights. 
Collectors may display purchased artwork in their home or place of business, but may 
not reproduce, license, or resell the artwork without written permission.

Lora Marden retains the right to create reproductions of any artwork, including but not 
limited to prints, reprints, commissions, and other products, unless reproduction or 
licensing rights have been purchased separately by the collector in writing.

Product & Artwork Sales 

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-
by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services 
that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at 
anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue 
any product at any time.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole 
discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. 
These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, 
the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. 
In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you 
by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the 
order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole 
judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

Product Listings & Color Accuracy 

We strive to represent artwork accurately. Colors and textures may vary slightly due to 
screen settings and lighting.

Pricing & Availability 

Prices are subject to change without notice. Original artwork is one of a kind and may 
sell quickly. We reserve the right to correct errors or cancel orders when necessary. We 
reserve the right to decline sales for any reason. 

Orders & Payments 

You agree to provide accurate billing and shipping information. Payments are 
processed securely through third-party providers. We do not store payment details.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information 
for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and 
other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration 
dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.




Shipping & Delivery


Processing times are listed at checkout or on product pages. Delivery timelines may 
vary. Lora Marden Art cannot control shipping delays once artwork is with the shipping 
provider.


Large-scale shipping: Oversized works (including originals over 32” x 48” and reworked 
canvases) ship via professional art freight and may add 2–3 weeks to processing time. 
Freight pricing typically starts at $500 and must be paid before shipment.




Final Sale, Returns & Damaged Items

All paintings, wearable art, prints, and products are final sale. Returns and exchanges 
are not accepted. Please email loramardenart@gmail.com with any questions prior to 
purchase.

If artwork arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of 
the artwork, packaging, and shipping box so we may assist with the carrier or insurer.

Commissions 

Commissions are accepted on a limited basis and are often on a wait list basis. A 50% 
non-refundable deposit is required for all commissions. Timelines typically range from 
8–12 weeks. We reserve the right to decline commission requests outside the scope of 
our work and/or availability of commission slots.

Third-Party Links 

We are not responsible for content or privacy practices of third-party sites linked from 
our Site.

Indemnification & Limitation of Liability 

All products and services are provided “as is.” Lora Marden Art / Lora Marden is not 
liable for indirect or consequential damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.



You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Lora Marden, also known as Lora 
Marden Art, and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, 
contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and 
employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, 
made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service 
or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the 
rights of a third-party.




Governing Law


These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana and the United States.

Changes to Terms 

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site constitutes 
acceptance.
