I accept a limited number of commissions each year so that every piece gets the time, care, and creative attention it deserves. Because of this, I often have a waitlist.
When you commission a piece, you work directly with me from start to finish. We’ll talk through your vision, inspiration, and the feeling you want the painting to bring into your space. I’ll share sketches along the way and keep you included in the process as the artwork comes to life. Some people prefer to be surprised and not receive advance sketches, we’ll work with what makes you happy! My goal is to create something that feels truly special, a piece of bespoke artwork made just for you and the place it will live.
While I do my best to take on meaningful projects, I reserve the right to approve or decline commission requests. If your idea isn’t something I feel confident creating, I’ll be honest with you and your deposit will be fully refunded.
Once your spot is reserved, I’ll reach out to get started and ask a few thoughtful questions, such as:
- What size are you thinking?
- Is there a mood, memory, or feeling you’d like the piece to reflect?
- Are there certain colors, subjects, or past paintings of mine that you’re drawn to?
- Do you have inspiration photos or images?
- Where will the painting hang, and how do you want that space to feel?
My commissions require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Most paintings take 8–12 weeks once a concept is finalized, though timelines can vary depending on the subject, canvas size, color palette, and my current availability. We’ll talk through timing up front to make sure everything aligns. All original commissioned paintings include a Certificate of Authenticity and a unique title. Every commission is a true collaboration, created with intention, care, and a lot of heart.
